 X - Rays How They Can Be Harmful And Harmless
X rays are in the Electromagnetic spectrum and they are used for dental medical industrial and cancer treatment. Ultraviolet rays come before x rays in the spectrum, and gamma rays come after x rays. X rays a re much stronger than ultraviolet rays but gamma rays are stronger than both ultraviolet and X rays. Actually gamma rays are the strongest ray in the electro magnetic spectrum. X – Rays are in the electromagnetic spectrum. X - Rays can be harmful and harmless. There a lot of things that can be harmful and harmless. Hard x-rays can penetrate skin and soft x–rays can hardly penetrate your skin. Too much radiation from x rays can make you very ill. X-rays can see more than what you can see with your naked eye, like injuries, ripped limbs, and very small fractures. There are a lot of harmful thing to do with x rays like how x rays can kill your cells and cause cancer. X-ray radiation can destroy deep tissue in your bone. X-rays can also have effects on pregnasy and how your baby is born because x rays can change DNA cells in the body. The harmless sides of x-rays are that it helps doctors see your broken bone and fix it with casts. there are also x-ray machines in air ports. They can see if one of the passengers might have a bomb and that can be harmful to every one else going on the plane. X-rays because genetic mutation witch is generally harm less. In all x rays were actually invented completely by accident. Wilhelm roentgen noticed that a florescent screen in his laboratory started to glow when the electron beam was turned on. X rays can be used to examine softer tissue such as our lungs and out blood vessels or our intestine. Also an x ray machine is an electrode pair that sits inside a glass vacuum tube. Free electrons collide with the tungsten atom, knocking on electron out of a lower orbital.
