Sea World Death Many unanticipated deaths happened in the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010. Like Michael Jackson, Brittany Murphy, Jesse Browning's Daughter, Andrew Koenig and Nodar Kumaritashshvili. But the death that just is terrorizing to think about is the death of an innocent woman that worked at Sea World. She was a killer whale trainer. She has worked with the same whale named Tillikum for almost 16 years. While she was cleaning the top of his head, she accidentally jumped tripped, and Tillikum, just literally grabbed her with her teeth, and drowned her in the water. He was thrashing her around durable. Others say, like audience, that while the parents and children were asking questions, Tillikum just jumped up and killed her. This happened in Orlando, Florida. The popular Shamu show in Sea World didn’t begin when the death happened. Her name wasn’t said, but this woman was nearly 40 years.

Just think about it. The prevalent killer whale in the park that is 12,300 pounds, just piercing and trying to pull her head off. Also this isn’t the first death this killer whale had caused. This is like its 3rd. The people who say the before show say that the whale was not following commands and was agitated. This happened on February 24, 2010, at 2:00 on Wednesday with dismayed faces of parents and children. This woman was one of the few who was let training with Tillikum. Many trainers are afraid to swim with him, because of his, weight, strength and size. He took the woman under the water and after, just bobbed up, and had somebody in his mouth. If you want to see what happened, and have the guts, here’s the URL: http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/02/24/killer.whale.trainer.death/index.html
It’s the second video.

I chose this topic to write about because, I also did go to Sea World and see the Shamu Show. I’m not sure if it was the same whale. While I was watching it, I was really enjoying it. I never even thought about if the killer whale would do something appalling as what Tillikum did. But now, since I know this can happen, and it did…I don’t know if going near the whale is such a high-quality idea. The trainer there let me go near it. I thought it was endearing. But I guess I should think again. To know that one of those animals can kill you, I think staying a distance away from it is a superior idea.

This interests me because I thought this would never happen. That the killer whales were appropriately trained and would actually could never do that to a human being. But now, it’s in the news and it happened! I thought that the name, Killer Whale, had nothing to do, if they really slaughter people. But now I don’t even know the answer! Whales like Tillikum needs to be vigilant.
I think that other people should be interested and care of this topic because, maybe if you want to be a killer whale trainer, you know that you can die from the job. People need to know what animals do to people who work with them. So you should be suspicious when it comes to training or playing with animals. Another reason is that if you went to Sea World, like me, you should know that going near the whales, isn’t the best thing to do. Actually it’s the worst thing to do! You never know when one might lose control and shot their teeth right at you.

I give all my prayers to the woman who died. She was an innocent woman with a dream to work this Killer Whale. But just when one thing goes wrong, everything does.
