Their missions are described to land on the moon. Their rocket ignited at 9:31:51, and launched at 9:32:00. Space was officially eleven minutes forty-two seconds away from space. It would take them less than six days to get to the moon. On July20,1969, Neil Armstrong was the first man to step foot on the moon. Michael’s job was to travel to the far side of the moon and make over 850 computer commands. On July 24, 1969 they all landed safely in hawii to complete their journey. This book provides a wonderful description of the man who went to the far side of the moon.
