Keltic project My days invading the Kelt's.
I am a roman solder sent by Rome to take Scotland. Our leader Julius is a great and powerful man. Some of the soldiers think he was sent here to take Scotland . I am Samicus and I'm a roman soldier.
My first day in camp. The camp was a great place it is more of a small town then a camp. I went right to the baths when I got in side it is in the inner wall far from the barracks I should have worn my cape I was cold so I went in the warmest bath and relaxed for a little. Suddenly I saw a toilet sponge in my tub I can't imagine what person would do that. I jumped out of the water. Then went to the barracks to sleep.
That morning was our first invasion we went to a camp then we lit the houses on fire and left. A soldier came and I stabbed right though his shield with my gladius. We all left we would come back at dawn and settle the town and move on as we made our way back we saw some Kelt's. I took note of it. later that day on our way back to camp we were ambushed by the Kelt's. They were not a threat our war tactics and swords cut through there ranks easily Although I did get a large dent in my helmet I am happy our cloaks are red because it was a bloody day. When I got back to camp I was commended for my deeds and that I would get an estate when I retired.
That is were I am now soaking up sun and living it up. It pays to be a great roman soldier. My day were hard and cold but now I am rich and content.
