 Romans in Scotland Some of the differences between the romans and celts were the amour and clothing, for the romans it was the cloak, and kit bag also known as Saccus and Caligae. Also for the Celts it was the torc, clothing and faces. The tools of the romans made them known to be more advanced with the more protected and armored soldiers. While for the Celts they were a less protected army with very different stiles, like their painted faces to with bright colored cloths. They also have different stiles of how they protect politically and army wise that was low armed. Another thing that had similar and different aspects was how they set up their villages. With different organization and their different buildings, tools, and advanced skills used to help their village. The Romans had more of an organized village with square boundaries with protected towers and ditches at the gates. They also had toilets, and tools that helped in their growth. The Celts had more of a circle boundaries with not as much protection and what made them special were their cemeteries where old soldiers were buried. The differences and similarities with their tools, terms and technique made the Romans and Celts known for certain things that have changed and helped our day today for the better and worse.
