 Letter The book I just finished reading is Franny K. Stein The Lunch Walks Among Us. Franny is a mad scientist that does some wacky things. She isn’t normal until she tries to be like her classmates. Franny changes her dolls to be like the girls’ dolls and changes her lunches to be nornal too. Instead of cassaroles she asks her mom to make some old-fashion peanut butter and jelly. She even transforms her look so she looks like the other girls. Everything is going well until people put some stuff in the garbage that made a monster. The monster had a pumpkin head a crab body and everything else was crab too.The monster took Miss Shelly(the teacher). So Franny had to go mad sceintist again and made a monster out of the meat from the students’ lunches. The Crab-Monster climbed up the flag pole with Miss Shelly in his hands. Luckily the Meat-Monster shook the flag pole and the Crab-Monster dropped Miss Shelly into the bread from the sandwiches. My favorite part is when Franny made a kid in her class wet his pants. He wet his pants because of Franny’s mad scientist side. She was nervous that everone was going to be scared of her because she went phsyco. The next day she apologized to the class,but they surpized her and didn’t care that she was a mad-scientist. They just liked her for who she was. This book was very wacky and that’s why I liked it. It remindes me of another book I read that was about a girl that wanted to be the same as everybodyelse especially her friends. Just like Franny!
