 Blog B We were asked the question “Why wouldn’t Jodee transfer to another school?”, and we all thought that the reason was because she didn’t want to keep running from her problems. If I were her I’m not sure what I would do. I know I would want to face my problems but sometimes it would be really hard to deal with. Jodee probably wants to stick up for herself. I think she needs to be more verbal and not let things get her down so easily. Now that Annie and her are friends, hopefully she will get more confidence and not be afraid to stand up to people that are mean to her. We also thought that she might face the same things at a new school that she has faced at her schools in the past. Blog B: What student-created questions did your group disagree upon, and justify? When we were discussing the question “How would you feel about going to camp?” we all had different opinions. Some people thought that Jodee would be excited to go and have to opportunity to meet new friends that might share the same interest and abilities as her. While others thought that they would be scared because we wouldn’t know anyone and would not know how to act around other people. Yet, we might also feel excitement and curious to get to experience new things. I personally would feel nervous and scared. If I have at least one friend then I would be fine. But I’m not always as outgoing at first when I’m with people I don’t know too well yet. I wish I wasn’t that way sometimes, because if you don’t care what people think then you will be less of a target.
