Ghosts Of The Fog On a silent spring day,
in a walled graveyard,
lined with black roses,
I lay in the soft, lush grass.
No one knew I was there,
therefore,
there was no one to wake me.

Still in my dreams,
my eyes were opened,
but not by me.
It seemed I was stuck in one spot,
barely able to move,
surrounded by chokingly thick fog,
or so I thought.

Suddenly the fog diverted,
swirling faces of fog,
dancing in the wind,
chanting,
“you shall not escape,
you shall not bear to escape.”
screeching, screaming,
“here is the wall,
between life and death,
soon you will be trapped,
then nothing comes next.”

To me it seemed,
the ghosts of the fog,
were trapped in their past,
lost in the future.
“you must learn,
to accept the future,
as it is.
You also must release me,
for I have a life to get back to,
and you don't.”
