My Artist Statement My artist statement
The theme of my work was horses and things to do with horses. I chose this because horses are a very important part of my life and I love them so much. For materials, I used magazine pictures and paint. First, I cut pictures out, I layed them on my board where I wanted them, and mod-podged them. Lastly, I made my stencil and painted it with pearlescent to add shine to my collage. The thing that made my artwork unique was that I had a certain theme that has to do with me for my collage. I was influenced and inspired to use horses because I ride them. So I was inspired to do something I love to have in my life.
