An Unforgetable Day
So it was a few days before New Years Eve and my sister was babysitting for Tori. She was going watch us for a while so my mom had to call someone else. My sister can't drive, so Tori had to pick her up. When she got to my house,we opened the door for her. But when we did, a bird came out of nowhere and flew in our house! When my sister left, we made a plan to get the bird out of the house. So my other sister, Ally and I went upstairs and shut all of the doors to the rooms. Also, we made sure that it didn't fly up there, my mom opened all of the doors that lead outside, and My dad got out the broom. The bird was on the tree by now and my dad tried to brush it outside. It didn't work it flew on the air vent. It flew all around and we chased it. A few minutes later, my babysitter arrived. Since all of the doors were open she came in our house. We don't get to see her to much because she goes to college. Then she helped us catch the bird. When it was flying, my dad hit it with the broom and it landed right in my Christmas Tree! We found it but it flew back upstairs. My mom tried to cover it with a sheet but it didn't work. then she tried to grab it from behind. she ended up pulling out a few of it's tail feathers. After that, my dad picked it up with a towel and put it on a tree outside. FINALLY!

Ha, Ha, that was so opossum (pretty and awsome) and by pretty I mean the backround because when that bird hit the Christmas tree it must have been a very unpretty sight. When the bird hit the tree did it look like you had a whole new tree topper? Or did youeven have a tree topper? I can't believe covering the bird with a cloth didn't work. I mean birds arn't that smart (I think). But one thing your babysitter should have done (instead of walking right in) well she should of like knocked on the door first before walking right in. Or did she knock on the door and you just didn't want tell the world? What time was it? I want to know because mabe you were told to put on your pj's instead of catching the bird. You know some of these questions I don't even know how I think of them but somehow I do. Oh! I know how I do it I do it by well that's just me,Grace, Grace, Grace, Grace. O.K. last question I promise. Do you have any pets? If you do than how did they react to the bird. So, sadly like I said that's my last question. I guess this is goodbye then.
Bye,
Grace

Hey stephenie, that is very unusual for a bird to fly in your house.I dont have an experience with a bird flying in my house, but I do have an experience with birds flying into our windows. They dont know what is coming do they? Anyway that was funny to read and kind of silly that it flew on the air vent.Good thing you caught it.It was also smart to close all of the doors so the bird dosent fly any were you dont want it to be.That was a brilliant post.I cant wait for the next post.
