 persuasive essay It's simple and effective. All you have to do is recycle everyday and stop destroying land. I know it is bad for logging companies and some farmers, but we can compromise for how much land is destroyed. Plant trees after you cut down the forest. Maybe loggers could only cut down 1 of every 3 trees of an area. Instead of cutting down trees for cows, don't raise cows and get paid the same amount you would for the meat of a cow . You would be paid for not cutting down trees. Of course this would only be in effect if you were incapable of raising animals due to trees. It may not sound fair for loggers and governments right now but wait until you see the stark reality. Every minute around the world 100 trees are cut down. That's 1,440,000 trees a day! For 1 pound of beef from a single cow, 200 sq ft are cleared. AAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!! By using my idea the world could be a better. It sounds like the government would be giving away their money but that isn't true. They would be paying for oxygen, clean air, preventing global warming, preserving natural land and more. There is no need to make machines to suck Co2 out of the air. That's what trees do naturally. How would you feel if all of a sudden plants and animals started making stuff out of us and hunting us down to extinction? I would feel pretty bad. We would constantly be on the run from the natural world. There is no place on Earth where we could hide. This is what animals are doing accept their running from people. As the dominant species we should be helping the earth in the best possible way. The rate at which we are cutting down trees and killing animals and destroying land for cities is unbelievable. In 100 years students might be reading about trees in text books, trying to picture them in their minds. We should be more focused on preserving the Earth than going into space. Instead we spend billions of dollars on going somewhere else. Before we try to go somewhere else lets try to not destroy the place we are.
