Project Safeguard
Our whole grade and our parents went to project safeguard. We learned how to communicate and how to resolve conflict. We did exercises to help show the other peoples point of view. For example we had a picture of an ink splotch and we told everyone what we saw and we explained it. We learned how to solve problems on our own and without hurting any ones feelings. For example if saw we get in a fight with our parents we could learn how to solve it without anyone's feelings getting hurt. We learned how to respect our self, respect others and build self esteem. We also played fun team building exercises like cool bummer. We also played a game where we had to have someone jumping inside a long jump rope and we had to somehow find a way to get everyone to the other side of the rope without anyone touching the rope. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot.
