Joe Flood
In school we had a person named Joe Flood come in and talk about some very important subjects for our future lifetime. Joe Flood is a ex-alcoholic, he has been to rehab for a couple of years in his life but now that he quit he does not do drugs anymore. He told us stories about teenagers, drugs and how it affected their lives.
When Joe Flood was talking to us, he said some very key point things about smoking and drinking. This was very important for me because he talked about the brain and the 6 stages of how drinking and smoking can cause you to die at some point. The very last stage is the stage where you are no longer alive. It is very sad to know the a lot of people in the world die from drinking too much.
I am very thankful to learn about drinking and smoking because I learned now that I have to be cautious about it for when I get older. Not only do I have to be cautious, but I have to be cautious around my friends because I don't want them them to encourage me into doing drugs. Thanks for reading!!!
