Christmas Traditions

It is a tradition in my family to make cookies and ice them. We do this for fun and to give

them to"Santa". The cookies are sugar cookies with homemade icing. The icing is usually red,

yellow, blue and green. The cookie are loaded with icing.......usually, depending on who makes

them. The cookies aren’t just plain round ones, they are Christmas trees, bells, angels and many,

many more. We also put toppings on the cookies. The toppings include different sprinkles and

red hots. The best part about making them is the final prat "testing" them. I can’t wait to make

them again.

Another tradition is to draw names at Thanksgiving. We do this to see who we will buy

gifts for, for Christmas. We have been doing this for as long as I can remember. I love doing this

because no one knows who they will get. Everyone buys for the kids though, so I have nothing to

worry about.

The last tradition I do is we get up on Christmas morning. Then we open up our stocking

s and then go to church. After church we have Christmas at my house. My grandmas and

grandpas only come to this one. Finally we are down ro the best part opening up presents!
