Terrific Twelves are a class of Year 3 and 4 Kiwis, aged 7 - 9. We are an e-learning class this year, so we will be extending our e-knowledge and skills by using all sorts of software programmes. Blogging is a great way to document our progress, and it also allows us to share our exciting learning globally. Take a look at our learning so far... Delicious Bookmark this on Delicious

Harvesting From Our Garden Today Room 12 children got gardening... it was time to harvest our carrots, spring onions and cauliflowers. We've been giving away our veges for a gold coin koha and today we had to harvest to meet all our orders. What fun it is to collect all the great food we've grown. There were plenty of carrots, which meant we got to enjoy them with our lunch. Fresh carrots are sweet and tasty.

We've raised $52 this way... and we have spent it all on the Oxfam Unwrapped website. After much thought, we bought 2 chickens, 3 ducks and a garden package for a family. Our purchases go to families in need in Papua New Guinea.

You can avoid buying socks, chocolates and other annoying presents by buying Oxfam presents on the Oxfam site. People in need get to enjoy some of life's necessities while you feel great about knowing you've spent your money wisely.
