Thinkers at Work!
We practiced problem solving in math this week. We used what we know about numbers to solve problems like this:
There are 12 vehicles in the garage.
Some are trucks. Some are cars.
How many of each could there be?
We used two-sided counters to help us figure out as many ways as we could to show the answer. Then the students showed their answers by drawing pictures, numbers or words.
